The Castle Country House bed and breakfast accommodation is the restored wing of a sixteenth century castle. Located just outside Dungarvan at Millstreet, County Waterford, it is bounded to the south by the lush pasture lands of the Blackwater Valley, and to the north by the rugged beauty of the Nire Valley. Open to the public since 1978, The Castle Country House has become internationally recognised for the quality of its accommodation and the genuine warmth of its welcome. It has received a five-diamond award rating from both the AA and RAC, and is recommended by most good travel guides.
